Hello again, been a while again, i’m sorry about that. Lately i’m lacking motivation and/or inspiration for some (weird) reason, but i’m still here and alive so don’t you worry a bit. Tomorrow i have my last work day before Endrive heads to the baltics for a show at Fonofest 2008 in Césis, Latvia. I’m really excited about it and looking forward to it. The crowds in Latvia is way better than here in Finland and i’m expecting a crazy crowd on friday. We rehearsed today for the last time with the band before the concerts. We also have a cover song in our repertoire for the first time since i’ve been in the band, the song we chose to cover is “Jaworski” by USA based band ‘Will Haven’. The song is a definite crowd rocker and will set the place on fire, that’s for sure. Our set will be approx. 30 minutes long, dont have more songs, but i think it’s better for a new band to play too short than too long, dont wanna bore the crowd. Even so that they like it, it’s better to leave them wanting more. So on Friday we play in Latvia and then on Saturday we’re a part of the “Summer in the city 2008″ happening here in Turku, together with great acts like Rites of the Youth, Lighthouse Project, So Called Plan and Stanley (just to name a few). The festival starts already on Friday but we play in saturday, of course. So this is what’s going on, now i will go and spend the remainder of this evening with Melanie and i will see you soon enough. Take care ya’ll and be blessed!

current music: my chemical romance – give ‘em hell kid

Hey there everybody, it’s me and i’m back. Today is a ’sad’ day, my summer holiday is over and i have to return to the grey reality, which is my work at Nokia. In a way it’s nice to see everyone there again, but on the other hand, few more weeks wouldn’t hurt. But i have one evening shift and two nights then again four days off. We had Endrive practise this past Sunday and boy was it fun, hadn’t played in a long time so i really had a great time. We’re having the first show abroad with Endrive on the 27th, in Latvia at Fonofest. Deep Insight is also playing there on the same day as we, they’re one of the headliners for friday. We also went to IKEA this past Saturday, which was nice in a way, but it’s so crowded, since its just opened. But i guess it will be crowded for months to come. Don’t know how long ‘they’ need for it to go to normal. Well, it’s not like we have to go there everyday, thankfully. But now i go and get ready for work. See you again soon, bye bye…

Hey there everyone. We are back in Finland and sorry for writing now, this late. We’ve been “busy”. We brought with us from Germany lots of Mel’s stuff so this whole apartment is an chaos, not really possible to walk good in here. And to make matters even worse, today we went to the new IKEA which is about 8km from here, to buy some necessary stuff like a new TV table and some shelves and of course little stuff. Nice to have IKEA so close now, when you need something. At the moment i’m making food for us, some nice indoor barbeque with all kinds of goodies. The final Germany photo journal will be coming these next days and the video documentary a bit after that, so please stay tuned. Now i will go and continue with the cooking. Bis Gleich!

Hey thre. Sorry for not writing here lately, but i really havent had the possibility, and i dont have so much time at the moment either. Yesterday and the day before that we were camping in Cologne with Mel’s friends and i also got to go to the famous music store in Cologne, it is amazing, i envy the people who live near it, haha. Yesterday we visited Mel’s uncle and aunt and had some barbeque with them, was lots of fun. We’ve been having lots of barebeque here, i don’t mind at all. In the evening (yesterday) i watched football with Mel’s dad, the european championships are on the way and yesterday Germany defeated Poland 2-0. Just in case you haven’t noticed, this post is quite messy, but I will write a full journal of the trip when i get back to finland with photos and then later also the video documentary that as now is entitled “Autobahn”. I’ve made notes on my mobile phone of each day so i can remember later on which day we did what. I’ve been having a great time here and really enjoyed myself. Tomorrow morning we’re heading back to Finland, a long drive, about 1.300 kilometres after that i can sleep on the ferry and when i wake up, we’re hopefully somewhere near Turku. Right now i’m at Melanie’s parents, in her brothers room writing this. But now me and Mel are going to town to get what we need for tomorrow’s drive back. See you soon again. Take care and God Bless!

Hey my friends and greetings from Germany. Our trip has reached the first real checkpoint, which is Heudeber (Germany, naturally). Our way here was a bit bumpy. We got on the morning ferry from turku on Sunday at 8:45 and arrived in Stockholm 7 pm (local time). On the car deck a big truck partially destroyed our right back door on my car so we couldn’t close it anymore, which means we couldn’t keep the car locked. Melanie was holding the door closed as we drove out from the ferry and searched for help, none to be found easily. One kind woman helped us to an bit bigger gas station but because it was sunday, their repair shop was closed, naturally. But a kind gentleman enjoying his hot dog overheard us and he wanted to help, although he didn’t work there. He took some tools, including a rubber hammer and started banging our back door, looked and sounded quite brutal, unfortunately i didn’t get that on video. But amazingly he got the metal straightened enough for us to close it and lock it, so thanks to the kind hotdog gentleman from stockholm, you saved our day. Will contact my insurance company later, of course. After that we realized our license plate from front had fallen off, on the boat while our car was stuck to the truck it dragged our car a bit forward and obviously hit the car in front.

But we got out of Stockholm thanks to our brittish man on our navigation system, thank God for GPS. We drove  all the night, around 600 km to Malmö (Sweden) from where we drove over the bridge to Denmark and continued driving around 200 km to the camping site in Rödby, where we arrived at 7am. We waited one hour for it to open and put up our tent and slept for about 3-4 hours before heading to the Rödby harbour to take a little ferry over to Puttgarden (Germany). After arriving there we set our GPS to Heudeber and followed the instructions of the kind brittish man. The way from Puttgarden to here was about 320 km. We didnt’ get stuck in traffik, luckily. We arrived here a bit before 9pm yesterday and had nice little supper followed by an refreshing shower, the shower really did it’s job.

Today we went with Melanie’s friend Babette and her boyfriend Michael to a city nearby called ‘Wernigerode’. Was nice. Went up to a hill with two horses with carriages where this big castle was, nice views i must say. We walked back down from there and went to an ice cream bar and that my friends was delicous. We got some allergie medicine for me and headed back here. Later today we will have barbeque here and go back to Wernigerode for bowling, Finland vs. Germany.

But that was it so far, hope you enjoyed. Photos and video coming as i get back to Finland. See you again in a couple of days, whenever i get the chance to come online. We have been filming and taking pictures so an interesting documentary will be created out of this and a photo gallerie. Bis bald!
